Product details
Spin it up and feel it fight back. A gyroscopic ball that gets harder to hold the faster it goes. Screen-free, silent, no batteries, and quietly addictive once you get the knack of it.
Features
- Gyroscopic resistance — the faster you spin it, the harder it works your wrist and forearm
- No batteries — a quick pull-start and it is running
- Silent — usable in an office or on a call without annoying anyone
- Several versions — plain, with LED lighting, five-colour light, or a metal-bodied option

Perfect for
- Climbers, guitarists and anyone who wants stronger hands
- Desk workers who need something for their hands that is not a phone
- Rebuilding wrist strength gently after a break from training
- A stocking filler that outlasts January

Good to know
There is a knack to starting it, and most people take a few goes to get it spinning properly. Stick with it — once it clicks, it is easy every time. If you are recovering from a specific wrist injury, check with a physio before adding resistance work.
Frequently asked questions
How do I start it?
Wind the rotor with the supplied cord or spin it with a finger, then move your wrist in small circles to keep it accelerating. The wrist motion is what builds the speed, not force.
Is it actually a workout or just a toy?
Both. Held at speed for a minute or two it produces a real forearm burn. Used idly it is a fidget.
Which version should I get?
If you want it for training, the plain or metal version — the LEDs add nothing to the resistance. If it is a gift for a teenager, the lit versions are the ones they will pick.
Does it need charging?
The plain version, no. LED versions have a small light circuit; the gyroscope itself is always mechanical.
