Good to know
This is a top-up pump, not a workshop compressor. It will take a tyre from low to correct pressure comfortably; inflating a completely flat tyre from zero takes longer and uses a good chunk of the battery. Charge it every few months so it is ready when it matters.
Frequently asked questions
Will it inflate a car tyre from completely flat?
It will, but slowly, and it will use most of a charge. Its real job is bringing an under-inflated tyre back up to the correct pressure, which it does quickly.
How do I know what pressure my tyres need?
It is printed on a sticker inside your driver's door frame, and in the handbook. Set that figure on the pump and it stops automatically.
Does it do bike tyres?
Yes, with the supplied nozzle. Set a higher PSI for road tyres than for car tyres.
Is it loud?
It is a compressor, so yes, noticeably. It runs for a minute or two rather than continuously.
