Measure first. The three lengths are the one thing people get wrong — measure the flat area behind your tap before choosing. Too short and water gets round the ends; too long and it will not sit flat.

Measure the width of the flat surface behind your tap, from one edge of the sink to the other, and pick the nearest size that fits within it. 35 cm suits most bathroom basins; kitchen sinks usually need 45 cm or 61 cm.
Does it stay in place?
The silicone grips a clean, dry surface. It is not adhesive, so it lifts off for cleaning and can be repositioned.
Will it fit around an unusual tap?
It is flexible and sits behind the tap rather than around it, so tap shape matters less than the space available.
