It is a heater, not a flask — it actively warms food using battery power rather than just slowing the rate it cools. That means battery life depends on which temperature setting you use, and the higher settings drain it faster. Charge it overnight and use the lower settings if you need it to last a long shift.

How long does it take to heat a meal?
It warms food through gradually rather than blasting it like a microwave. Switch it on 30 to 45 minutes before you want to eat and it will be ready.
Will it cook raw food?
No, and it should not be used to. It reheats food that is already cooked. Do not use it to bring raw meat, fish or eggs up to temperature.
Can I put it in the dishwasher?
The inner container can be washed normally. The heating base and battery unit must never go in water or a dishwasher — wipe it instead.
Does it leak in a bag?
The lid is sealed for transport. As with any lunch box, carry it upright where you can and do not fill it to the absolute brim with liquid.
Can I use it while it is charging?
Charge it separately. Running the heater while charging puts unnecessary strain on the battery and slows both.
