The Fill Light Kit
Better light beats a better sensor every time. The kit version adds a clip-on ring light on a hinged arm — it folds flat when you don't need it, and rescues every photo you take indoors after 4pm when you do.
Good to know
This is a grip, not a stabiliser — there is no gimbal motor in it. It removes the shake caused by tapping a screen and by holding a phone badly, which is most of the shake most people get. It will not smooth out footage while you walk.

Does it work with Android?
Yes — directly on MagSafe iPhones, and via the supplied metal ring on Android phones and older iPhones.
Does the shutter button work in any camera app?
It pairs as a Bluetooth keyboard, so it works in the standard camera app and in most third-party ones. Pair it once in your phone's Bluetooth settings.
Is it a gimbal?
No, and we would rather say so plainly. A gimbal actively counteracts movement with motors and costs several times as much. This is ergonomics and a physical button.
Can I use it on a tripod?
Yes. Pair it with the Steady Magnetic Phone Tripod and you can move between handheld and static in about a second.
Will it fit a phone in a case?
Yes, provided the case is MagSafe-compatible or you fit the supplied ring to the outside of it. Very thick or metal cases can weaken the magnetic hold.

Indeed, it is a product of very good quality. I loved that even though the phone case doesn't have a strong ring, this product sticks very firmly. What I also liked is that it's lightweight and the buttons work perfectly; I didn't have to configure anything extra on my Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, and it doesn't affect the camera module in the ring area.
